Ludhiana : A vivacious show was put up in the form of ‘Mehfil-e-Bachpan’ Annual Function of class II and III in the school premises. The function was set up in two shifts. The event was graced by various dignitaries like Mrs. Geeta Nagrath (Director IIFT) and Mrs. Paramjit Kaur (Principal, BCM Arya Model School) as the Chief Guest. The function commenced with the name of almighty and lamp lighting ceremony. The tiny students seemed excited to exhibit their dancing talent attired in colourful costumes.
The parents were equally enthusiastic. The major attractions of the event were ‘Chak de India’ an arobatic show, English Play ‘Snow White in the court room’, ‘Rajasthani Dance’, A choreography depicting the Naughty Bachpan and many more. What moved the audience the most was Nukkad Natak ‘Bhrastachar’ and the Fashion Parade. The audience was spell bound to see such tiny kids touch such grave subjects. Praising the efforts of the students and teachers, the school Principal Dr. Vandna Shahi remarked that children’s participation in such functions not only sheds off their stage fear function but also enables them to learn out of the classroom environment.
