Apratim 2017 inaugrated by Home Secretary, Anurag Agarwal


Chandigarh  : Chandigarh College of Engineering & Technology (CCET-Degree Wing), Sector-26, Chandigarh is organizing its “Annual Campus fiesta “Apratim 2017-The Phoenix Rises” on October 13-14, 2017 with the aim of spreading awareness about Women Empowerment and its cultural theme of Andaaz Apna Apna.

The fest was successfully inaugurated by the honorable Chief Guest Sh. Anurag Agarwal, IAS, Home Secretary cum Secretary technical Education, Chandigarh Administration in the presence of Respected Dr. M.S. Gujral, Principal CCET(Degree Wing) , esteemed faculty members and students of various colleges . The inauguration ceremony included lamp lighting by honorable chief guest Sh. Anurag Agarwal, IAS, Home Secretary, Chandigarh Administration. It was then graced by Sarswati Vandana which was followed addressing by the honorable chief Guest.

Sh. Anurag Agarwal, IAS appreciated the faculty & students for their hard work and innovative way to organize this techno cultural fest Apratim 2017 and extended full support form Chd administration to provide a world class infrastructure. He encouraged the effort of college to taken up such initiative which gives overall exposure to student development and wished them a successful future. 

The musical club of CCET-7 Notes then gave a soulful performance. The inaugurating ceremony was finally concluded by the perfect element of spirit of a Bhangra performance by the Bhangra club of CCET-Punjabi by Nature. Joyful fun events, intriguing treasure hunt, thrilling robo-wars-this was nothing but just a glimpse of the first day of Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology’s Annual Techno-Cultural Fest -Apratim, sponsored by Comio Smartphone. Entertaining the youth with various technical and cultural competitions such as programming hackathon, lan gaming, solo singing, movie making etc. Major events including Folk Dance where the students enthralled the audience with a spectacular performance. 

The mega event that made to the highlight of the day was the Sunburn Campus and EDM night. It featured DJ Amour as the opening act and NDS who made the crowd groove to their funky beats.
