It was an exceptional sight to behold as the students and staff of all AKSIPS Group of Smart Schools gathered together to celebrate the Founder’s Day. In an invigorating endeavour, the schools organized the “Student of the Year-2014 Competition”, the most popular show of the day.
The enthralling celebration kicked off with the welcome speech by Dr. B.N.S. Walia, Chairman of the AKSIPS Group of schools, followed by lighting of Jyoti Kalash by Mrs. Manjit D Singh and another galvanizing speech by Mr. Jasdeep Kalra,the Executive Director of AKSIPS Group of Schools.
Performances of students for the most coveted title followed thereafter. Enthusiastic students from AKSIPS, Sector – 41, AKSIPS, Sector – 45, AKSIPS, Sector – 65 and AKSIPS, Sector – 125 captivated the audiences with their talent. Dances, songs and other entertaining activities enlivened the zealous spirit amongst the audience.
Showcasing immense unity and brotherhood, the students of all branches sang the nostalgic song ‘yaad aayenge woh pal…’
The management, staff and students of all AKSIPS Group of Schools partook in this celebration with like enthusiasm and remembered their founder for her exemplary vision.

All the four winners were thrilled and all smiles to receive the title of “Student of the Year”.
The management lauded the exceptional endeavor and congratulated the staff and students for successfully actuating the great show. Mr Jasdeep Kalra the Executive Director said, “such events are a executing learning platform and students must be encouraged to participate.” He stressed that such initiatives are pertinent to all round skill development. Mrs. Jasmine Kalra, Director and Principal of AKSIPS Sector – 65 appreciated the innovative endeavor and said that such activities are a unique and inventive platform for students that encourage healthy competition and learning. Mr. Sidhant Kalra, the Administrator remarked,” it is very thrilling to see such amazing talent and commitment. I congratulate the students and staff. “The Principal of AKSIPS-41 Mrs. Jagjit Sekhon said “I am proud of my students’ and the Principal of AKSIPS-45 Mrs. Harpreet Kaur said “This was a competition of a life time” AKSIPS -125 Principal Mrs. Parnika Singh said ”AKSIPIANS were a real feast for the eyes. I have never witnessed such a professional performance by students ever before”
