Chandigarh September 12: As many as 232 unfair-means cases (UMC) were registered in the State during the first semester secondary examinations in English and first and second semester senior secondary examinations in Home Science and Entrepreneurship subjects conducted by Board of School Education Haryana (HBSE), Bhiwani. Besides, three teachers were relieved from duty for dereliction in duty.
While giving this information today, a spokesman of Board said that the flying squad of Board Secretary made a surprise visit at examination centres at districts Fatehabad and Sirsa and found the examinations running peacefully.
He said that in district Bhiwani, the flying squads of Board Secretary conducted a surprise inspection at examination centres at Tosham, Bawani Khera, Loharu, Charkhi Dadri and Bhiwani and registered 37 cases of copying. Apart from this, Special Task Force registered 68 cases of copying.
