K.L.kHANNA ,8 JUNE:I began runnnig this programme from the HQs of NYKS in Delhi for 63 districts in the country. The programme has the following bases:-1. Creation of teen clubs;

. 2.Creation of peer voounteers;

 3. Training to peer volunteers in life skills and Adolescent reproductive and Sexual Health;

4. Approach: Ingenious fund of knowledge in the book of ethics like Panchatantra and Storeys of famous writers in the lndian languages;

5. Peer education and discussion;

6. Moral approach towards safe sex We don’t say that the sex among the adolescent is an amoral category. We teach them about Reproductive health before their parents, and tell them that the family is the repository of the values since the ancient times. We also take up anthropological stance and say that family has four basic functions to perform universally; Socialization; Sex; Procreation and economic. So the sex and procreation are the two departments which belong to the institution of marriage and family. We tell them. We take a moral stand on this issue. This strategy clicks with the parents and the adolescents alike.
