Chandigarh, 12 Oct. 2009: Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, popularly known in the educational and the corporate world as NMIMS has added yet another feather in its cap this morning by laying the foundation stone of its Chandigarh Campus. His Excellency Governor of Punjab & Administrator Union Territory of Chandigarh Gen.(Retd.) Dr. S. F. The planned magical infrastructure would be taking shape in the shortest time span at Saranpur Institutional Area, near Chandigarh. The land handover was made in the last week itself. After that, all the necessary arrangement being done at the lightning speed. Dr. Rajan Saxena, Vice -Chancellor said that the NMIMS campus is going to be the most preeminent in imparting education in North India. He said that in order to meet the growing demand of the tomorrow and the region, we are happy to accept the golden opportunity given by the Government. It was our dream to reach the Northern India since 1981, when the NMIMS University was formed. We believe and work towards strengthening the corpo rate foundation by imparting the best in the latest techniques and know-how.
