11 Nov : 35th Women national Sports Festival 2009 organized by The Sports Authority of Goa (group- II ) in collaboration with Sports Authority of India got underway with glittering Inaugural function on 11th Nov. 2009 at PJN stadium, Margao.

11 Feb : Over 400 delegates from across the country have converged in Goa to discuss the roadmap for India’s e-governance at a two-day national conference from Thursday.Based on the theme `E-Governance-Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges,’ the conference will deliberate on people-friendly administration through e-governance.
