Structured around the theme: ‘Expanding horizons of Higher Education: Challenges’, the Conference will see the Vice Chancellors of over 50 universities in the region deliberate over issues ranging from equity in higher education, quality upgradation, the repositioning of research to an inclusive education system during the course of five technical sessions spread over two days.

Chandigarh, Aug 30- Haryana School Education Department has made it clear that no recommendation for State Award-2009 would be entertained, if received beyond the stipulated date of August 31, 2010.
A spokesman of Haryana School Education Department said here today that all field functionaries of the Department including District Education Officers have been categorically directed to send their recommendations of eligible teachers for the State Award-2009 positively up to August 31.
