13 Feb : Two comprehensive resolutions on politically sensitive issues of price rise and internal security will be passed in the forthcoming BJP National Council at Indore, which will also ratify the election of Nitin Gadkari as the party’s national president.”The BJP National Council will pass two resolutions relating to price rise, and internal and national security. Gadkari to be formally elected as BJP chief on Tuesday

8 Feb : BJP President Nitin Gadkari is all set to be elected as the party president for a three-year term in the organisational polls on Tuesday.
The submission of nomination papers, scrutiny and withdrawal of papers has to be done between 1000 hrs to 1300 hrs.
Gadkari, who took over as Party President from Rajnath Singh in the last week of December, was likely to be the lone contender and in all probability would be elected unopposed, party sources said.

25 Nov ; CPI(M) has said the Liberhan Comm report has demolished the defence of BJP that Babri Masjid demolition was a “spontaneous movement” but has laid itself open to the charge of a political bias by not pinpointing the failure of Centre to take action.
