24 July :A training workshop on Risk Based Performance Audit techniques begins here tomorrow with the inaugural address by Shri V. N. Kaila, Controller General of Accounts, Ministry of Finance.
The month long training is designed to equip key internal audit personnel deployed in different central ministries and departments with all the core competencies needed in a competitive dynamic and challenging environment. The Institute of Government Accounts & Finance has forged a partnership with the Institute of Internal Auditors to collaborate on this course on Risk Based Performance Audit.
The organization of the Controller General of Accounts is contributing to the tasks of overhauling systems and practices related to Internal Audit in the government arena and has embarked on a journey to bring in “best-in-class” internal auditing techniques and practices, with particular focus on risk based internal audits and performance audits.
