Robin Aggarwal & Jaiprakash Hasrajani elected new Chair & Co-Chair of CII Yi Chd Tricity Chapter

Dr Robin Aggarwal has been elected as the new Chairman of the CII – Yi Chandigarh Tricity Chapter for the year 2013-14 whereas Mr Jaiprakash Hasrajani has been elected as the new Co-Chairman.

Robin is the Director of The Millennium School, Mohali, founded in 2008. He is a professional with 10 years of experience in both corporate and family business.  Robin is a management professional, with an M.B.A. – MS (information Systems) from Boston University and LLB from Dept. of Law, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Robin has worked in various MNC’s like Boston Scientific India and State Street Bank both in India and USA.

Mr Jaiprakash Hasrajani, elected as Co-Chair is the Co-Founder & CEO of Taaleem India, Co-Founder & CEO of TCIS & CEO of ValeurHR.

He is an Entrepreneur with business ventures and serious interest in Education Management, Skill Development, Capacity Building & HR Consulting.

His Taaleem India, is an Education Management, leading Skill Development & Capacity Building organisation working with Higher Education and K-12 areas, with latest being starting the first truly Global College in India, Taaleem College of International Studies in Chandigarh. Taaleem India has been working with leading Universities including PEC University, IITs, Banasthali University, Thapar University in the area of Student and Faculty Development as well as setting up it’s flagship Eco-System. Taaleem would have trained more than 24,000 students in last 3.5 yrs and got more than 6600 students placed with it’s direct efforts and contacts with Industry, 1230 of companies are part of Taaleem Eco-System.

For the current year, the focus of activities of CII Yi would be on upgrading the education system to make youth ready for the industry, bridging the skill requirements gap and working towards inclusive growth of the society supporting the underprivileged & the deprived sections of the society.
