Written complaint against Sub Inspector Davinder Pal Singh by Satinder Singh
Chandigarh 13th August 2013 : Satinder Singh ,councillor of BJP from ward no 18 has given a written complaint to Inspector General of Police,Chandigarh For taking strict action against Sub Inspector Davinder Pal Singh, Investigation Officer for Illegal detention of Mohit Sharma resident of sector-30-B,Chandigarh in FIR No. 217 dated 10.08.2013 registered under section 323,341,506,34 IPC with police station M.W. Industrial Area, Phase-I, Chandigarh. The District President of BJP Shakti Prakash Devshali alongwith State Vice President Sh. Hari Shankar Misra and Rajiv Pandey visited the police station at around 3.00 P.M on 11.8.12 and had a talk with SI Davinder Pal Singh, Investigation officer of the case who told him that the above said case was registered and the accused Mohit Sharma who was in custody since 8 A.M would be produced before the Court tomorrow and the Court would grant him bail. At around 7 PM, Sh Satinder Singh went to police station and met the concerned Investigation Officer. The above said fact was reiterated to me by the Investigation officer.
The fact which is supposed to be told by the concerned Investigation Officer to the undersigned and other respectable including Shakti Prakash Devshali, his relative or any close person of the accused that offences stated above are bailable and the bail would be granted in the police station itself by giving the surety but the said fact was not disclosed deliberately and intentionally with the ulterior motive.
Later the bail has been granted by the Investigation Officer in the night after getting hefty amount. It means that Investigation officer has deliberately and intentionally kept the accused in the custody for more than 12 hours and has mislead everyone. The investigation officer did not deem fit to tell the true facts deliberately to any one that the accused is entitled to get bail in the police station. Sh Satinder Singh, being in the public field and as a public representative, cannot refrain himself from reporting this matter to higher officials and pursue the same to its logical end. It is further requested to preserve the CCTV camera footage of 11th August, 2013 of the concerned police station to verify the true facts.
