BY MOHD MAJID MALIK , Bhadarwah,NOV26— Green Gold in Danger:-Illegal cutting of Green Deodar is going on war footing without any check in forest division Bhadarwah in Doda district .A serious threat to ecological imbalance corrupt forest officials are hand in glove with forest mafias Alleged by Bhadarwah Action Committee President Imtyaz Ahmed Butt in a press conference and demanded high level action and inquiry against corrupt forest officials.Imtyaz appealed to Forest Minister and Chief Minister Umar Abdulla to look into matter personally in order to save the precious wealth of the state and strong action against forest conservator chinab circle Doda.when contacted to Range officer Neeru he refused to comment,DFO Bhadarwah Told that he is not authorised to talk with media persons by the higher Authorities.
It is pertinent to mention here that Police and forest officials have claimed to seized hundreds of sleepers at Shiva forest area but in fact they have recover theses slipeers from the house of local peoples alleged Ab Quyoom Nmberdar ,he further told that they peole have innocent people in fact they have buy these slippers from forest officalsa by paying huge amount on the name of Avzana .HE demanded a fair inquiry should be initiated against forest officals who beffoling the poor masses and work in the forest is going on with the support of forest officalsa .
