Emraan Hashmi, Soha Ali Khan & Director Kunal Deshmukh storm the city
By Madhup. Chandigarh: The much awaited Bollywood’s flick and first Natural Disaster film ‘Tum Mile’ is released today. And its star cast Emraan Hashmi, Soha Ali Khan and director Kunal Deshmukh landed in the city to promote their movie in the event held at Hotel mountview. As eagered crowd were seen across the city events just to catch a glimpse of these stars. Produced by Sony Music & Vishesh Films, Tum Mile which is directed by Kunal Deshmukh of Jannat fame casts Emraan Hashmi & Soha Ali Khan in a very unconventional pairing on screen. The music composed by Pritam rules the charts and the hearts across the nation. It’s a love story of two estranged lovers who meet after a gap of 6 years in Mumbai on 26th July’05 – the day when Mumbai drowned because of rains and floods. The film explores the importance of a second chance in one’s life – and how far will one go for it. Director Kunal Deshmukh, whose debut film ‘Jannat’ was a musical and theatrical blockbuster, has treaded very different waters with Tum Mile. He shares his experience and said, “After all, flood is natural disaster and explores the human psyche of how far will one go for a second chance for something one truly loves. I just hope and pray it will be even more after its release.”
Talking about cinema actor Emraan Hashmi said, “As I believe people have a thirst for entertainment and they are the only one who can make out a good product from even a bad one. The energy and the appreciation we are getting for ‘Tum Mile’ has strengthened our belief in our product.”
Actress Soha Ali Khan said, “It’s altogether another experience to meet your fans one on one. The phenomenal response shows that ‘Tum Mile’ has struck a chord with people and I wish Friday the 13th is going to be lucky for us”
Later on, these stars moved down to PVR cinemas, Chandigarh where they interacted with their fans.
