Bhog of Prof. S.P.Singh on Oct.14
11 Oct : The Bhog and rasam Kirya of Prof S.P. Singh will be held at 14 Oct.09 from 2 PM onwards at Radha Krishna Siddha Mandir Sec. 14 (PU) Chandigarh.
It is to be mentioned that Prof. S.P. Singh was demised on Oct 1st 2009. He was a Former Dean & Chairman of University Business School (UBS), PU; Past President of Chandigarh Management Association (CMA) & Chief Mentor of Aryans Business School (ABS). Hundreds of Industrialists, Management Experts & Academician attended his cremation on Friday (02-10-09).
His contributions in management have been tremendous & widely acknowledged by academia & industry. He worked on various research projects at Lucknow University and IIM Ahmedabad. He did his Ph.D and taught at Colorado (USA). He rendered valuable services as Member Advisory Committee (Projects), Punjab Financial Corporation (PFC).
He had been involved in many EDPs for Managers and Government Officers sponsored by UGC & also in Orientation and Refresher Courses in Commerce, Management, Economics, Statistics, Environment, Education and Public Administration at PU and several other universities in India. He was one of the architects of the major initiatives and innovations. He restructured and renamed Deptt. of Commerce & Business Management as University Business School (UBS) during chairmanship in 1995.
