Under the law, death sentence has to be confirmed by the High Court.
The CBI has also filed an appeal seeking reversal of acquittal of the trio and death for Binjawar and Dhande.

The High Court has asked the CBI to prepare a detailed chart mentioning role of each of the accused in the case along with details of charges framed against them and supporting evidences produced before the trial court.

The CBI, during the hearing on Thursday, said that all the accused were convicted for same crime and hence deserve same punishment.
